Optimization through Transparency

A comprehensive examination and analysis of production processes requires the closing of the information gap between commercially oriented ERP/PPS systems and production level. This is the task of the two MES modules for data acquisition and data analysis which help recognize the technical and organizational potential for improvement and to convert it profitably into optimized logistical sequences. 

As an optional tool, the COSCOM ProXIA control center is able to schedule the rough planning data generated by ERP/ PPS systems in accordance with capacities available in the factory.
This leads to a considerable increase in both planning security and the adherence to delivery dates.

The COSCOM MES system COMU takes on the task of acquiring production and machine data directly at production and assembly level. This data is forwarded to the control center and/or the ERP/PPS system.
The relevant opeational statuses are represented via online monitoring in order to ensure shorter response times. The fast and efficient determination of key indicators (e.g. OEE) guarantees a maximum of operating and cost transparency as well as optimum operating reliability.
